Detective logic puzzles to print at home and solve with a pen — free, with no email address and no account. Each pack is a PDF of complete cases: a victim, a set of suspects, rooms and weapons, the clues, and a deduction grid printed beside them. All the solutions are in an appendix at the back.
Ten cases spanning all five Deduce detective ranks, two at each — Rookie Detective, Junior Investigator, Inspector, Master Detective and Grand Sleuth — so a pack works as a difficulty sampler rather than ten variations of one puzzle. Rookie cases are gentle and mostly direct; a Grand Sleuth case is a five-by-five board with an added time dimension and clues that only pay off in combination.
Cases are generated and then checked by a constraint solver that works them the way a person would. A case is only included if the solver confirms the grid resolves to a single arrangement by deduction alone — never by guessing, and never with two answers that both fit. The cases in a pack are generated specifically for it. None has run as a daily case and none appears in the case archive, so regular players get ten cases they have not seen — and it is why the answers can safely be printed at the back.
The PDF is A4 with generous margins, so it also prints cleanly on US Letter with the printer left on its default fit-to-page setting. Pages are black and white by design: no colour ink, and they photocopy well. You are welcome to print them for a classroom, a puzzle group, a care home or a long flight, and to link to this page so people find the current pack.
